Meet Dr. Marco Brindis

Dr. Marco Brindis is a highly respected international speaker and specialist in full-mouth rehabilitation, cosmetic dentistry, and dental implants. He has helped many people restore the health and function of their smiles. Moreover, he combines academic excellence with a warm, personalized approach. He served as Professor and Chair of the Prosthodontics Department at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry (LSU School of Dentistry), where he trained future specialized dentists. His approach goes beyond traditional dental care, focusing on each person’s unique needs to deliver long-lasting, life-changing results.

With advanced training in implantology, esthetic dentistry, and prosthodontics, Dr. Brindis is a proud member of The Smile Effect dental team in New Orleans. He completed studies at the University of Texas at San Antonio, the Biotechnology Institute in Spain, and the Pankey Institute. In addition, he trained at LSU School of Dentistry. As a result, he brings advanced expertise to every patient case. He is an active member and speaker for leading organizations such as the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry, the American College of Prosthodontists, the Academy of Osseointegration, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and the West Coast Study Club.

mEET Dr. tara Brindis

Dr. Tara Brindis earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from James Madison University. Later, she moved to New Orleans, where she graduated with honors from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. After that, she continued her training with a General Practice Residency at LSU Health Sciences Center. There, she gained extensive experience in hospital-based dentistry and advanced clinical care.

Dr. Tara Brindis has a strong background in treating medically compromised patients. She performs dental clearance examinations and provides general restorative dentistry. In addition, she is trained in the use of botulinum toxins and dermal fillers. With these skills, she treats facial pain and gummy smiles. She also enhances the outcomes of comprehensive dental rehabilitations.
